The Thirriwirri Story

Thirriwirri is the Muktung (Maneroo) word for Ironbark. Ironbark is tough, textured and enduring, rooted deeply and firmly in Country and culture. It represents our commitment to working with tenacity and perseverance to deliver quality consulting, coaching, mentoring, and management services and solutions.

We are a 100% Aboriginal-owned business that brings together the extensive experience, insights and passions of long-time friends and colleagues, Jason Ardler and David Major. Together we combine more than 40 years’ of senior executive experience, leading innovative strategy and change management.

Our experience and expertise reaches across economic participation, community engagement and governance, cultural heritage and land management, community safety and wellbeing, environmental health and service accountability.

Thirriwirri’s purpose is to make available to others our knowledge and experience, to support them in building their own strong, successful and adaptive communities and organisations.

Thirriwirri works with highly skilled associates that we can draw on as required.
